I come home every year to visit family (Austin/New Braunfels/San Antonio)
I'd like to use some of my vacation shooting,
any ranges,places to shoot 600 yard or better?

The longest range I know of around here is The Bullet Hole. It's on the west side of San Antonio off Highway 90 just outside Loop 1604.

They only go out to 300 yds.
