Ok well i am about 8 hours aways and it dawned on me. Hog hunting.......is there any good places for 1 day hunts. Most seem to have hidden fees like paying per lb of meat or hog. I wasnt able to pack rifles due to issues on Tuesday. I may be out of luck for a place that has 1 day hunts, gun rental and wont charge for the meat. I dont mind a skinning/gutting fee. Plan on quartering up and bringing home to process. Now if someone has their own hog issues my coolers have plenty of space lol.

Burnt bean in Seguin is legit. Worth a stop. and since this is your first trip to Texas, we have a thing called breakfast tacos so just be prepared for that. The more run-down ghetto looking the building is, the better the tacos. This is only for south of Austin. North of that real mexican food doesn't exist.

So i am working at the estes terminal off 410 and staying at the holiday inn in windcrest. I dont have to worry about my truck while at work but at the hotel is different. Hey if it happens i will have every tool replaced and some on the ole wish list. I am gonna be wrecked after a breakfast taco this weekend and have the lazies. Wish i had stayed on top of my spanish lol. A guy walked up and told him i dont speak spanish in spanish. He started a conversation with me so I pointed and that was the end. So what in hell is going on with the bridge/road work its nuts.
Every road and highway around here is under constant construction. It never fucking ends. been that way for at least 30 years.

But I just work in Dallas and the area where I works is not fancy high rises or police stations. It is a working area of town where people work, which is kryptonite to most of jackwagons causing trouble back then.

As to the traffic, yeah, it's a shit storm there, and has been going on for at least the last 30years. SA grew too fast, and they can't keep up. The 1604 used to be the easy way around, but now that's gridlock as well. Rush hour is a nightmare these days...so you don't have to worry about speeding.
Stay away from the south side of town; it's the barrio these days. Lotta gang problems with the open border shit.

Yeah shipping terminals are in the not so good and surrounding areas. There are a rare few thats arent. I wont be wondering around after the sun goes down lol

well trip is going good as it can get. Traffic is nuts at times. Wish I was able to bring my toys so many places to shoot and kill hogs. Went to the gun show in Floresville, nothing special but better than sitting in the hotel. Then shit went side ways. I had to come to Texas to get my first ever stiches. Dont ask I how it happened I just made a stupid mistake and knew better. Bright side the nurses at the med clinic were hot lol. Will plan too go to the Alamo on Sunday because we have shut down on power Saturday. I can say I have been there lol.
