Rem700 LTR in .308
millett ts-1 4x16 30 mm scope
millett tactical rings
swfa picatinny rail mount

all new items, I was cleaning after every 3 shot string and though it was oil or solvent at first but after cleaning the lens its not...I sure its inside. Thanks in advance for help or comments

Re: Specks inside scope?

It obviously sounds to me like you have some type of debris inside of the scope. From what I have read, and I have owned a few of them, Milletts are kinda hit and miss on QC. That being said, I would see about sending it back for warranty service/replacement if it is a new scope. Sorry I couldn't be more help but that is what I would do if I were in your shoes. Good luck.

Re: Specks inside scope?

Beat it on a phone book, or hit it with a rubber mallet until the speck's gone.

-no wait, that's what you're supposed to do with USO's if there's a speck you don't like, I'm not sure if the Millet would take it-better send it in, as I doubt they'll warranty it if you told them you beat it on a phonebook or hit it with a mallet.......
