Ok, this stuff has been out for a bit now. How are you liking these light weight bags? I’m looking at a light weight mini fortune cookie or pint sized game changer for hunting use. Is the weight saving worth the stability loss, in this “it’s going to get carried WAY more than it gets shot from” use case? My sticky pint size GC is my most used bag, so I’m familiar with the form factor. Just wondering how the light bags are working for you. Thanks.

I have not tried SpexLite. I have tried GitLite and Purg fill. I didn't like the GitLite on props because the bag never really settled. The Purg fill is better - more solid lock up. I use the Purg filled bag as a rear bag or to fill space like on a tank trap. My primary bag for props though is the pint-sized GC with sand fill. The nice thing about the lightweight fill is that it adds very little to your kit bags weight. I really wanted the lightweight fill to work on props because I have tendonitis in both wrist. The light weight is great but, sand fill bags just work.

You could buy some here and try them out in one of your existing bags:

SpexLite, GitLite or Purg fill would all be great for a bag you are carrying for hunting. I have a JC Steel targets bag filled with lightweight fill and it weighs less than 2 pounds. Same with the old style full-size game changer bag - under 2 pounds. I would think a little bigger bag would be useful for hunting and with the lightweight fill options, easy to tote around.
