McMillan A5 Stock for Surgeon 1581 XL, with Surgeon Bottom Metal with (1) 338 LM 5 rd AI Mag, Badger Ordnance EFR (Embedded Front Rail Mount). Foreword PIC Rail, Woodland Camo, (2) flush Cup mounts, used for 370 Rounds, rifle ended up a safe queen, ready for someone to put it to good use. LOP back of trigger guard to end of butt is 13”, so it might be 13.5 or 14 to a trigger? Surgeon had installed a Heavy profile barrel so I think it will take just about any size you have. Minor surface handling marks on surface only, solid, well-built stock one of the best ever made.

Compared to our other A-series stocks, the A-5 uses a beavertail forearm that is wider and flatter. The action and barrel sit lower for enhanced stability. The A-5 uses a trim pistol grip. The dual purpose butt hook is fully functional for either riding sandbags or controlling the rifle with the non-trigger hand. The A-5 can be made as light as 2.5 lbs.
