*SPF* Selling the upper and any lower parts you want to pay me for. The lower broke after an unfortunate encounter with a tree.
Very important! This upper will not work with a standard lower. S&W ensured you couldn't put the plastic lower on normal uppers (which wouldn't work with no actual buffer tube anyway) so they made it shorter than normal. Ergo, if you want to use this upper, you'll need a S&W lower, or perhaps an 80% lower that you'd have to do something special with. Also, the S&W lower is narrower than a standard lower, so of the lower parts, only the trigger would work in a standard lower. Anyhow, this is all stuff I read other places, so do your research if you don't know.
Upper got me about 3 MOA 10 shot groups with Aguila ammo, and one of the CCI LRN. I'll send you my data if you want it. The upper is polymer, so it annoyingly shifted POI a bit as the upper sat in the sun. Yeah, I know, I'm salesman of the year, but at least I'm honest! Bore looks fine, but to be fair, I haven't bothered cleaning out the burnt powder. Quickly cleaned up the crown and it looks normal.
Honestly, I'm done with the platform. It probably paid for itself with how much it saved me over 223 ammo, so if I can get money out of the upper, I'm happy.
Upper only, $120.
If you buy the upper, I'll pop out any small lower parts you want if you pay me $15 (the stock is stuck in the "buffer", so I can't sell that). The trigger is actually surprisingly all right, no "walls", just smooth movement before the hammer drops.
If you buy the upper and you want the broken lower, I will send it to you, but it'll have to be through an FFL. If you live in an unfree state, I'll have to look up if I can send it before I agree. $0. I tried to "fix" it, and broke it more. It may be possible to still use with a "featureless" stock and grip, but I doubt it, or it would take a lot of work (I believe the "buffer" stops the "BCG" from flying backwards into your shoulder).
If you buy the upper and want the mags, we can figure something out. If you want the Simmons 4x scope and the rings, I'll sell them for $40.
