First post here... I think. Been lurking awhile. So I thought I had my mind made up on the Zeiss 18-45 for a general use spotter. It’s light and packable for hunting, great rep, hopefully enough mag for range use spotting trace and splash out to 1000-1200 tops? But then there’s the TS-80 for about the same price... lots heavier, angled eyepiece, more top end. I read it was a rebadged Meopta but no idea if that’s true or not. Anyway I think the Zeiss is still my pick but does anyone have experience with both? That’s the top end of my budget.
