Spotting scope with ranging reticle?

I'm not a competitive shooter, but my son and I are beginning to push ourselves a little bit at medium to longer ranges. So far, I've shot successfully to just 800 yards at my range, but my next goal is to get to the 1,000 yard targets. At 800 yards, I had an instructor calling the shots for me using a very high end (and according to him, very expensive) Leupold spotting scope with a milling reticle somewhat resembling the Horus H59. There's no way on earth I can afford the better than $4,000 price my instructor told me it cost, but I would like to know if there exists a spotting scope in the $1,200.00 to $1,500.00 range mentioned in this thread that has some kind of milling reticle. It doesn't have to have King Kong magnification......something in the 25x to 40x would be more than adequate.....but the reticle is important to me because we enjoy working together, and so far we are both restricted to the maximum magnification in our scopes, which for mine is 20x, and for his is 25x. I am an aging fart with the Mark 63 eyeballs and aftermarket cataracts, and the worse it gets, the more I find it difficult to use my scope's reticle (a SWFA SS 5-20x50HD) to call someone else's shots at more than 300-400 yards.
I already own one of those Vortex Recon R/T 15x50 monoculars, and it is fine for closer in, but just doesn't have enough magnification for my eyes further out.
If there are any affordable suggestions that have such a reticle, I'd appreciate hearing them.
The Leupold is not that expensive you can buy that model new from about 1200 to 1800 bucks, I bought the non Reticle GR HD Kit version for around $1660 +/- but there is a lot of gear in the case that never gets used, so you should be able to buy the Leupold Mk 4 spotter which is the model your instructor was using for the above mentioned price.

Thanks for saving me some money ?
Ya welcome, I bought the non Retical version which is the Leupold GR (Golden Ring) HD version, It has much better glass than the one your instructor had but it does not have the Retical But they are the exact same scope apart from I was lucky enough to find a new older version which is Dark Brown in colour, I wanted the brown version because it blends in better out in the bush, either the Mk 4 or the GR will serve you well and the price is really good for something that is Battle proven. I have another scope with a retical in it so I bought the GR version because for hunting and general scoping I find the retical becomes very annoying.

So decide whether you want a retical or not and pick the scope you want,

hope that helps.
