Rifle Scopes SPR Scope, that competes with NF2.5-10 ??

I have an SPR with 18inch White Oak barrel, PRS stock..... and NF2.5-10 Mil mil. I dig it. I now built a 16inch Noveske Recon Barrel, Geissele rail and SSA trigger I want it to be a "light weight" SPR type build. I am going to run an AAC mini 4 suppressor. I really like the 2.5-10 NF, and will probably get another. But is there anything else you would consider? I also already have a Bushy 1.25-6.5 tactical, and I like it. But don't want another, so please don't advise in that direction.

Curious myself... from what I recall when I did my SPR scope search, nothing could compete with the Nightforce compact for the price and size.

The March 1-10 and 2.5-25 are similar in size and weight and have much better glass in my opinion. Not sure if they are as tough although my 1-10 on a 3gun rifle has held up getting beat around barricades and tossed into buckets. They are considerably more money though.

Id say wait for shot to see the bushy 1-8. I've ran a cqbss on my 20" 6.8 at a long range comp. Shooting 2moa targets out to 600 yds was doable. Beyond 500 was a little lacking given 8 power and the 90gr TNT I was shooting.
Other than that +1 for march, full featured, great glass, and light.

I couldn't find a NF2.5-10x mil/mil when I was looking recently and ended up with the PST2.5-10x. So far I'm happy, but I haven't compared the quality side by side to a NF yet.

I do miss NF turrets though.

IOR 2.5-10 may be a possibility. It's a bit lager then the NF but optically superior. It is also FFP. I picked one up used for $800 with the tactical turrets and love it. It sits on my 6.5 Grendel and I have shot it past 800 yards. The MP-8 reticule is one of the best.

Vortex 2.5-10x44 Mil/Mil Ebr-1 sfp, I called SWFA, CSTactical, EuroOptic, they are all out of stock on this scope untill sometime in Jan or as late as March. But this is what I would condsider other than the NF.

Vortex 2.5 -10 sfp used it to shoot my 18" AR15 at a BHTC match out to 740 yds. Worked great, the only thing I did not like was no full reticule above wind age. Only 2 mils up if I recall, but that really wouldn't mater much unless you had to hold under more than 2 mils.

New Vortex says it will go for around $800 while the NF is $1400... not sure I'd say directly competing but I'm excited to check one out since its a lot easier to justify one.

Man, all things considered I'm not sure much can hang with the NF in the 2.5-10 category - good glass, lots of travel, good reticle options, very durable, and even HS turrets now. This might seem petty, but I really like their flip-up scope cap covers too. The USO 1.8-10x37 has some great features, but that's several hundred more. I'd stick with NF!

Yeah the Vortex is FFP I do believe. I think it may even have SF IIRC. It could actually be a better scope, depending how well it was executed.

Yeah I agree we need a mid range Razor model, although I'd prefer a bit more mag, maybe a 2-12 or 3-15. I kinda doubt the new 2.5-10x32 PST is going to be a straight up Nightforce competitor, probably more like a budget alternative.

TBH I'm far more excited by all these new budget alternatives than the new expensive shit coming out. I'll definitely buy one of those new PST 2.5-10s with a parallax for my 16" AR (assuming they will be readily available and not "sign here, wait 6mos for it to ship").

Just found 1 of 2 left of the Vortex PST 2.5-10x44 mil/mil ebr-1s at Liberty Optics. Its on its way to my House! Also in a scope of the magnification range FFP isn't that important to me. I mean if I need to "power down" for Anything/Reason to use the FFP recticule then that target is way to close for comfort and you should be shooting and not trying to range something. At 10x all subtentions are correct and thats perfect. Just think of it like this, its a SFP scope untill you get to 10x and then its no different then a FFP. Yes I have used FFP and they are worth it in something of a higher magnification.

I somewhat agree. What you loose in glass quality and good zerostop, you gain a reticle that is more with the times (if you a mrad kinda guy)and a few extra bucks in your pocket. sounds like a win win, for me at least. i dont need top tier glass on a 10x scope. i bet it will take some sales from nf.
disclaimer. i love the nf 2.5-10 so dont think im a hater.

Along the lines of the Vortex 2.5-10 coming out, Weaver also has a new 2-10x36, mil/mil that looks like it could be a good fit for a SPR role. Haven't seen any reviews of it yet. Looks like the little brother to their 3-15.
