Thank God for America's Constitution! This is a good example of what can happen to people if they don't the equivalent of our Bill of Rights. Brits are Subjects, American's are Citizens, this is a great example of the difference. One must remember the brits do not have a constitution of any kind, other than their "our entire body of legal history Constitute our laws........". It's easy for Free men (Americans) to see why the revolution was a necessity.

Very Interesting fellow taking his own path in life . upon further looking he was also jailed back in 2000 for 9 Months . Also In 2005, Sheppard's house was raided by police following complaints about allegedly racist material . & on 10 July 2009, Sheppard was sentenced to 4 years and 10 months in prison . & now 5 weeks .

I did not think it was that bad in Britain & I really am a spoiled bitch & take for granted walking in this country with the freedom to write on paper anything that comes to mind .

I read this article and found his opinions interesting. It's no real shock that his unpopular opinion caused him trouble. If you think this wouldn't happen here in this time though, you're deluding yourself.

If he was an American and did this here and now, he might not be arrested, but he would be vilified and lose his livelihood. Negative consequences resulting from speech= no freedom of speech. It has never actually existed. I'm sure that he is aware of this, and does this anyway thinking that he is doing good for humanity. Little does he realize that humanity could care less until it affects them personally.
