Springfield 1922 1903A4 Clone help

I am wanting to build a 1903A4 Clone with a 1922 MII and was wondering if the 03 stocks would fit a 1922.
Any help would be great.

Why would you want to destroy the value of a very collectible 1922 M2. These are selling in the $1200 plus range. Your clone would be a $500 rifle at best.

I wouldnt destroy a valuable M2. I would buy one already ruined ie. drilled and tapped and metal work refinished.
a few cheep ones pop up now and then that have been sporterized.

The question still remains.

Will the 03 stock fit a 1922?

As far as I can remember the standard contour M2 barrel is the same contour as a standard 1903 barrel. Should drop into a 1903 stock with no problem.

Still do research on what you buy. There are NRA Sporters out there. When you find one go to Jouster.com and ask Hershel if it is a Sporter or sporterized.
He is in the smallbore section.
