Can anyone please put up a solid argument/reasoning that one is better than the other?
At face value, the single rings would appear to offer a more versatile set-up in regards to scope placement, though the one piece mount certainly seems more popular.
Thanks for the input.

I have both, had is more accurate I guess. I think if you are running a tubular fore-end the one piece mounts are the way to go as you need that extra bit of height anyways. I had SP-4001s on my AI and then now run customs in a regular style stock and don't need the height and now run the 1" rings.

I have high cheekbones so the lower the better for me overall.

The bubble level in the 1 piece mounts are much easier to see than in the really low rings though.
