Starting Load 375 Cheytac Staball Hd

It has the right burn rate for 350 class bullets, similar to RETUMBO. I'd consult updated QL to get an idea of a starting charge, if that's what you wanna use. Personally, I'd start with RETUMBO since it's tried and true for the 350 SMK and 352 CEB. N570 works good too but will SMOKE your barrel in like 500-800 rounds
For 400 class bullets, you're going to want to step up to a 50 BMG powder, H50 or RL50

How about N565? Would that go easier on the barrel than N570? I'm loading 350Gr Lazers.

For 350s I’d stick with Retumbo or rl33. If it shoots. Retumbo has been the winner in multiple barrels for 10 years w 375CT.

I avoid n570 now bc it really smokes the barrel fast. And it’s the only powder I know of that has an advantage over Retumbo, balistically, to consider it. Try 565 or 568 if you want…

I'm having a hard time figuring a load with 50bmg. I'm 3 gr. under what should be max and getting a heavy a bolt. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Have you looked at the thread that I started on low development for the 390?

Several of us are stopping at approximately 135 grains or even a little sooner in Peterson brass. You can go usually one or two grains higher in Bertram because it has slightly larger capacity.

Are you having a true heavy bolt with other pressure signs or are you having clickers? Are you resizing your brass with at least 3000s of shorter bump? Have you removed the lube from your case? Are you up against the lands or jammed into them creating an early pressure spike? What velocity are you getting?

(There is another dude that claims you can push the load up to 140 g or even higher calling the rest of us pussies but at least some of us are stopping well below 140.)

Tell us more about your load, your rifle and your process and we might be able to troubleshoot further

I haven't. I'm using the 402ce. Peterson brass. And a 36" bartlein. I got the load data from cutting edge. I am cleaning the cases. I'm backing the shoulder 2000 and I'm .oo8 off the lands. It is a true hard bolt lift.
