Thought I would share a couple pics of a really nice coyote and bobcat taken in the last couple days. Coyotes have been a bit thin this year, but have managed to get to some prime areas and call some.

The cat was taken this evening. Can't be 100% sure, but called this cat in about 1 month ago and he wouldn't close the gap on 500yrds. I let it rest for a couple weeks and decided to crawl in his backyard and give it another shot. Well, it paid off. Haven't weighed him in yet, but easily over 23lbs, going to have to mount this one up!

Both of these were taken with .223 using HSM 50gr V Max rounds. Chest shots, jello internals, no exit. Very impressed with this round for the vermin.

22lbs and change is what the cat came in at. Really thought it would go over 23lbs easily, but no dice.

Feather on a stick. I don't use it all the time, but it definitly helps detract the predator from the hunter, and also brings them in better. If they can't get the visual, they often hold up and wait for movement.

1-$3.00 aluminum or composite camo arrow with field point installed.
2-couple feet of spider wire fishing line.
3-Turkey feather, or similar. Attach line to knock end of arrow, tape, glue, etc. Remove knock, tie on feather.

Nice cat, predator hunting is a blast. I have taken 4 of them this year. Too much hide damage to get one mounted. I got one more there that I have seen that's a giant. If I get him, its going to be a full body mount!
