Steel target stand

I just bought some 45% silhouette steel targets from JC targets and I'm looking for away to mount them to a portable stand. I looked at a lot of targets before deciding on these as I thought the money went to a good cause. I bought the T-Post hangers thinking they would mount to a 2x4 like the one below (I know it Say's t-post but I was having a brain fart). For me driving t-post into the ground isn't doable due to not having my own land to put these targets on and the only t-post's i've found are 6ft which has me shooting over the berm when shooting prone at my range. Anyone has a good solution. I've tried using tow hooks, para cord, and other but the targets spin each time they are shot which doesn't let me get a follow up shot. Looking for something more static. Would love to do something like the 2x4 method. My other thought was just mounting them to a 2x6. Any help would be appreciated.

Also you could just cut your T-post down if you don't want it 6".. Not sure how sandy the soil is there, but I only drive mine in the ground up to the blade as I want it to pull out easy when I am done, for the same reasons you mention I am not shooting on my own property.

Take a hack saw or any other metal cutting device and cut your t-post to whatever length you want.

Contacted bobcat steel. Got back to me on a sunday which was unexpect, talk about great service already. I'm gonna give those a try as they are exactly what I'm looking for. Soil here is really rocky and driving t-post's into the ground can be annoying as it seems like you can only get a few inches before hitting rocks.

I would cut down a t-post and build a base out of 2x4s that will support the t-post. Have long enough legs for stability and then make the center come up about a foot where the t-post can slide in.

Use a folding saw horse from lowes, Home Depot, harbor freight.......
