Rifle Scopes Steiner Military 4-16x50 windage turret question

Hi all, sorry for the silly question but I have searched and watched youtube vidoes and just haven't found the answer to my question. I just purchased a new Steiner Military 4-16x50. In all the info i have found it states that there should be close to 10 mil of windage travel or 5 mil in each direction. Mine has 5 mil travel to the right but 0 travel to the left it loack down after a couple of clicks. Just wondering if this is normal and once the turret is zeroed there should only be 2.5 or so in each direction? Thanks for your help.

Something seems wrong, you may need to center the turret housing. This may sound rude, but it is not meant that way, you need to read the instructions. If you do that and cannot figure it out, call Steiner.

I appreciate the help. I removed it from the box and it was this way from Steiner, that is why I was curious if this was normal or not, will try to contact them as it seemed to be missing some adjustment range to me, thanks.
