I have a T5Xi 3-15 and a Vudu 5-25, so not exactly what you’re wanting to compare but close. My Vudu arrived broken and I’ve had to send it back to them this past week, but I still got a good feel for what it will be like when it’s repaired. The Vudu is nice, but in my opinion the T5Xi is considerably nicer. The only reason I’m keeping the Vudu and replacing the T5Xi is the Vudu is the same weight, shorter, higher mag which I prefer, and has a floating center dot reticle which I vastly prefer. Assuming the 3-18 Vudu is about the same quality wise, I would definitely choose the Steiner, since the 3-18 doesn’t have the shortness of the 5-25. The Steiner has great turrets, a good reticle, great optical performance, is compact, fairly lightweight, and is high quality. The T5Xi is by far my favorite mid range optic I’ve ever used, over Bushnell XRS, Vortex Viper, USO 1.8-10, and a few others.
