Rifle Scopes Steiner

I've had my T5XI 3-15 for about 2 years now (with updated turrets), It's been through a tracking test and ran several matches on two different rifles with different calibers and performed flawlessly out to 1400 yards. I am quite confident in it's tracking.

I really like how the turrets are setup, you cant ever get lost in them, and like how the windage turret limits you to only making a half rotation in either direction.

I've seen people complain about the eye relief, which I think is actually quite good. I don't think the clarity is the greatest in it's price point however, but it's certainly more than acceptable. The fit and feel is on par with more expensive scopes. Overall I think the scope is a tremendous value especially considering it's USA made. Also the included lens caps are excellent and stay snapped on the scopes very well, I wish more brands would include a proper set of fitted scope caps.

I think these are one of the most overlooked scopes on the market these days, whose sales haven't yet recovered from tracking issues that they had in the beginning. I say buy now while the deals are still available.

They are freakin sweet! I've got a few 3-15 and 5-25 available, and can't believe no one has bought them yet.

The glass is very nice for the price, and I love the turrets. The 3-15x is nice and compact, the 5-25x isn't gigantic.

I have a 5-25. I have found the eye box to be pretty tight, and at 25x the picture clarity suffers a little. Overall it's a good scope and seems to track well. I don't have very much time behind it and so far I like it. The SCR reticle takes a bit to get used to, but I'm used to the Vortex EBR-2c.

I have 3. Solid performance at about 1/2 the price of a top tier scope. I had a 3-15 and a 5-25 for a while, then I decided I needed a NF ATACAR and a Schmidt, both 5-25’s. Great scopes for sure, but I’m not certain they’re twice as good. When I needed another 5-25 recently, I bought the third Steiner.

Just ordered a blem 5-25x56mm t5xi for 1169.00 from liberty optics today for my 260 rem with the advertised 4-6week lead time awaiting Steiners backfill. Scott called me personally and addressed my issues and concerns. So far very pleased with their customer service. Now I just need a set of rings.

Back when this site moved to Scout, and during the early release of the T5xi, I remember how this vendor treated customers who asked and IMO deserved a refund for the defective T5xi. What a disgrace.
Don’t know anything about that. Just helping pass on a good price for a reportedly quality optic sold by a current SH commercial supporter. Buy it from them, or don’t...

Exactly why I posted my comment. To inform those who don't have that history. After seeing that unfold and the treatment fellow hide members went through, I did buy - but not from him.

I suppose its possible, but I can't imagine Steiner selling these without upgraded turrets. If they do, they could be banking only a small % of folks sending them back in for the free upgrade. Good idea to confirm.

Anything sold in last few years from authorized dealers should have updated turrets. You can tell by Steiner logo marked on new turrets. Old turrets don't have the logo.
