Still Waiting

2nd week of August I ordered a 20 inch varmint upper 1-7 twist from White Oak Armament. Called yesterday and they say another 6 weeks. I'm about to lose my mind. I was hoping to be shooting this thing before bad weather set in. Not mad at them just getting antsy. Everything I've read says its worth the wait. Hope so. Words of encouragement or photos of your White Oak set ups would be nice. Help me get through this.

I have built 4 ARs using white oak barrels. They were all tack drivers, so I imagine ones John builds will be top notch.

I once waited 9 months for an upper, still not sure if it was worth it. Yours probably will be.

I've had a rifle on order from Rock River Arms for 4 months. They say they are waiting on 20" stainless barrels.

In that time frame I learned about a company called Mega Arms that offers 7075-T6 uppers and lowers that are AR10 compatible and take SR25 mags and AR15 trigger groups.

I would rather have bought a Mega, but it's kind of late in the game. I would probably get zinged for a restocking fee or something if I canceled.

My White Oak upper is being delivered today. Cant wait to get my hands on it.
