I know your gonna laugh and say "Are you stupid?" But the thing is I have a Brand new in Pelican Box Trij. ACOG TA11F, and since I have turned back to bolt guns, I'm looking to trade it to a guy on another forum for a like new AICS 1.5, or option 2 is buying a HSP 5R for my new "unfired" SPS Varmint in .243. I was a small dealer in parts, and racked up a pile of AR15 parts, like Magpul PRS stocks, STR's, ACSL's, lowers, uppers, BCG's etc. I know I will be sorry if our leader introduces the AWB again, and 30rd mags will be $50 again, but I really don't wanna shoot this thing until I get it right, and by right I mean a stock under it. I have 1 HSP on my VSSF II and one in a custom built 6mm Rem w/ Hart brrl, and they have served me well. Others are saying save my $ and buy a new B&C Light Varmint (A2) or the one with the big wide fore end (Medalist??) LMK your input. This will be a stock gun, until it starts to disappoint me with accuracy, and I'll send it in for a blue print, and brrl swap.
Also I'm having trouble getting the cheek rest just right, and don't wanna buy more rings until I get the stock I'm going to use. (Never used a steel Picatinny base before) and all my rings are mediums. UGHHHHH Any advice, I'm ready to start reloading this thing.
