Stock Modification Question

I have a Bell @ Carlson Medalist stock for a Target Action single shoot (4.40" screw spacing) which I am mounting on my 6.5X47 Lapua. This stock I could get to fit my platfrom, was one with a blind magazine. My question is, if in the future I want to use this stock for a different action (a reapeater) how complicated it would be to adapt the stock to accomodate a detachable magazine (5-10 rounds)? Just wondering.

It will require inletting the bottom of the stock to accommodate the new bottom metal. This can be done by hand, depending on how handy you are and using the right tools.

Thank you for that input. I am pretty good with tools and handy work. Is there a video I can watch that you are aware of? Any instructions of some sort? Also, if a gunsmith would perform this transformation, what would something like this cost? Appreciated it.
