I believe this would be the right thread, judging by all the camo jobs. If it's not my apologies. Thought I would show off some work.

Re: Stock texturing.

Thanks Gents, Heres another one.
Here is my H&S Stock before paint, This was done with a light aggressive texture kind of like McMillan. Although the flash from the camra makes it look like it has waves in the texturing, it does not. The contours are a little different than the above Manners.

Re: Stock texturing.

Man those look great! I have a few I would like to do that to myself but worried I will screw them up. Do you mind walking us through the steps? Did you paint it yourself as well?

No I did not paint this myself, not that I don't have the talent for such things, however I am not set up for painting in my garage.

The question I have for you guys. Would this be something that the Hide Members would like in the sales thread. (pending moderators approval and clarification)

Pull the tape at a sharp angle, smooth spikes over into existing texturing.

Degrease but I found sanding didn't make a difference when using Devcon or Steel-Bed

Thanks....I'm going to give it a try this next week. Where do I pick up Devcon, Steel-Bed, or Marine-Tex?
