Agreed, had great experience with bothBugholes and SJA are good to go!
We should all go to the better business bureau or something it’s just over and over with No Truth NickBeen waiting a year for mine. Talked to them a few months ago and he stopped me from cancelling and getting a refund by leading me to believe they'd get to it quickly. I'm about over it at this point.
Same here.Dude I'm never calling him again it was too the point if I didn't get my check I was heading to his shop if it cost me 15k it was the whole point of it I've got 10 custom guns and I will never recommend anyone do business there after I heard so many lies the check said minus credit card fees I didn't pay credit card.... he is like dealing with the government in my book.....I'm not the type to rant on businesses but it was so awful I don't want other good ppl to have to deal with it
He even blamed Joel at Terminus instead of owning up to HIS own shit. The barrel shoots great but id never buy a thing from him againSame here.
Total lying sob.
yeah then maybe dont post false lead times on your website and make excuses when you cant meet them.I can't even imagine being a smith in this day and age...if someone called me 20 times a month to cry about their contour and twist rate I would lose it.
External factors? He straight up lies. Dont publish fake lead times and lie about action availabilityUltimately I think there's a benevolent intent to deliver on the promises that are made, but external factors adversely impact Nick's ability to deliver on the things that he wants to. This also doesn't take into account everything that's gone on in the past two to three years or so in terms of being able to maintain appropriate staffing levels coupled with an almost exponential rise in demand. No doubt, it sucks when you want something that's been promised to come in three to four months, but in comes much later. But I think having a candid conversation with him is really the route to success. I expect my barreled action to be delivered in the next day or two to my FFL for my Vision chassis, and I'm super excited, but much like others I was plagued by similar delays due to supply chain issues.
Either way, I know that the end product will be outstanding and I'm stoked to get the rifle on the range.
This post was pure nonsense. He is telling u one thing and then doing the complete opposite. I ordered a barrel from krieger directly. 1 year wait time. 2 weeks ahead of that year it was ready. No games and no bullshit. G A precision said 2 months to chamber it. It took 2 months and 5 days. That is acceptable. Now if they said 2 months and a year later I'm still waiting and all the while I'm getting 3rd grade excuses on why I don't have the product I paid for I would be pissed. No other business takes your money and gives u a lead time then goes over that time by a year and then expects you to be ok with thatUltimately I think there's a benevolent intent to deliver on the promises that are made, but external factors adversely impact Nick's ability to deliver on the things that he wants to. this is where all the issues start, once they call you and say "there's a problem with the action" or "there's a problem with the barrel".Man, I'm hoping mine gets here somewhat soon. Think I'm at 3 months now. Reading all these posts doesn't make me feel good. I already conceded with SJA to switch to a different barrel that was in stock there for my order to go into production sooner...guess we'll see.
So if someone means we'll it's OK to deceive others. Probably a bear pit discussion, but you might want to think again about that concept.Ultimately I think there's a benevolent intent to deliver on the promises that are made, but external factors adversely impact Nick's ability to deliver on the things that he wants to. When was this?Chad heckler at 5x5 precision had my buddy's barrel back to him in 2 weeks after he received. Chambered and cut crown and threads on muzzle. He swears by him
