I’m just curious. Considering picking up a cheaper scope for once. The vortex strike eagles 5-25 seem to get really good reviews. My biggest concern besides tracking is glass quality. I know you get what you pay for, sometimes there may be exceptions. So for people who have experienced this scope, vs higher end scopes and vortex razor gen ii, how does this scope truly compare.
Thanks you.

The strike eagle tracks good.
Glass is good at lower power, but you can tell it’s not a razor when you start getting around 20x.

The Strike Eagle is not a Razor II. It tracks and glass close to the PST Gen II. It's a good option in the price range. Has a lot of elevation, illumination, great reticle and a locking turret. The zero stop limits travel to 18 mils or 48 moa but if on a 40 MOA base it's not needed. Even with that limit it's still more than enough to get most calibers past 1000.

They are a very good budget scope, we keep stacks of them in stock since they move so well :)
Excuse us we are running out of room for just the Vortex optics, we have another case of Strike Eagles and other items not shown.

I have a strike eagle on my 6x47 and have no issues with it. Compared to my buddies razor there is a noticeable difference in clarity at 20x and above. Doesnt mean the strike eagle is unusable at the upper powers though, just a little hazy around the edges. I generally shoot at 16x, no problems.

I demo'ed one. The glass was respectable. The reticle is excellent, the adjustments were good.
I bought an XTR II 4-20 instead.
The glass was better in the SE but the XTR feels far more substantial and inspires more confidence.
Besides, the Philippines aren't trying to destroy our country.

I'm a burris fan but have owned several vortex optics. Agree they are a good budget scope but for a little more, you can find a comparable burris which punches way above it's price class
