I guess the problem is that nobody really has a solid strategy on how exactly to right the ship and get rid of these people. The founding fathers never foreseen that everyone in the higher echelons of government would be working together to get to the level of corruption we see today. Or did they? Yes they put in a provision that it is our duty to do something about this but you have to be smart about it as well. As I have always said, it’s got to be a large force not just a handful of guys, demanding change. Otherwise, you simply get labeled terrorist and go away to never be seen again.
Whatever the move we make is, it has to be a winning move as everything else is failure to the largest magnitude. Now, if we could somehow get all 100 million gun owners to go up to DC at the same time and demand prosecution and termination of some of these idiots, that would be a win. They can’t take us all down. I have been saying this over and over. Hell, just a million would be enough but it’s going to take some people and while all these people are out there beating their chest, many are actually scared to do something. I’m not, I’d go right now, but I’m smart enough to know that I’m only going to accomplish getting arrested if I go it alone. That’s not smart. So, what should we do? In your mind, what’s the solution to the problem?
The only solution is 'action'. This is simply because 'discussion' has been drawn on continuously with no actual effect and with plenty of dilution of the issues.
The question on the type of action could be as simple as (previously suggested) the silent march en-mass upon Washington (Not unlike the march portrayed in Malcolm X [the silent power] ) to the other end of that spectrum being 2A territory.
The communication of "Now Is The Time For All Good Men To Come To The Aid Of Their Country" is one hurdle, whereas the coordination of such an enterprise is yet another. Obviously.
I sure don't want to see another Ferguson, writ-large, but at the same time, I most ASSUREDLY want to see America Great Again.
Listened to a discussion a few days ago. The root question was, is it possible to change the direction of any country with less than 10 rds of ammo properly placed? The ending conclusion was yes it was, but only if the do'ers seen no other choice of nudging. I thought it was interesting to hear all sides play out the 10 best to tag.
Similar to this older book I'm reading where they are discussing how you could determine the outcome of a closely matched war before it started by selectively eliminating the dozen people on one side who actually know how to run a war so their positions are taken over by proud yes men idiots who look excellent till the battles actually start.
Yep, remove the money folks an their plans all fall apart. The bobble heads would be the last to get tagged, as they are nothing but puppets. However those that need a mind changing event are but a select few that are mostly unheard of outside of select circles.
I would say 80% of the current system is working just fine with some glaring areas of improvement. The problem is how do we prioritize and how do we fund. One side has a different list than the other and even within those sides the priorities are constantly changing.
People cannot focus too well trying to attack too many problems. And the simplest solutions brought up are often the least thought out and freedom restricting.
The system has grown too big and needs a sharp contraction so we can see what actually matters.
The discussions are important and need to happen continuously, that should never change. And action should happen incrementally so people can adjust to changes being made.
