Didn't I see somewhere on here some short magazines for Ar platform rifles? I was thinking they where made by magpul but, I didn't see them on their website. Thanks.

+1 for MidwestPX. Great people who have been doing the Magpul "cut-down" and blocked limited capacity mags for a while now. Their 5rnd "stubby" mags are probably what you are looking for.
Magpul is set to release a factory offering of limited capacity PMAGs sometime in the near future, but as usual...they are running on Magpul time!
(Roughly translated to...it'll get here when it gets here)!

i was so happy to see a 5 round pmag until i saw that they werent really as short as the DPMS 5 rounder. i would rather stay poly if possible, but i fear i will have to accept the metal 5's from DPMS

No problem.
Magpul has been slow to release more 20rd PMAGs and I went through 150 of them over the weekend so I'm currently out of black.

The 5 and 15 round versions are for DPMS/SR25 pattern .308 ARs. They're chopped down by one rib so they're shorter than the grip. Check out Market Garden's post in this thread: http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1679027
