Has anyone tried ordering from these guys. I ordered two eagle stock packs and have tried to get ahold of them repeatedly for an order status without any success. Sometimes I get what seems like a home answering machine, sometimes nothing, sometimes weird tone like a phone off the hook, and once in a while I get a stubbygear answering machine. Wondering if anyone else has ordered from them with or without success? Just wondering if I may have been scammed for giving them my payment info!!
only reason went for it with them is cause I cant find anyone who have eagle packs in stock and there was nothing on their site to make me believe they were out of stock.

i had the same problem but i eventually got my pack...i would order from triad because who knows when stubby will come through and i have only heard good things about triad. if stubby does come through the worst that can happen is your stuck with 2 packs...order while retailers have them in stock and so u dont get stuck in the with next group of people waiting for the eagle stock packs...
PS. this is 4 post i have seen about stubbygear and pissed of customers

I had order one from Stubby on 03/19, got and order confirmation and didn't hear anything else. Saw another thread about them so I sent an e-mail on 4/30, no response. Ordered one from Triad shortly thereafter and got it today. Thanks Triad!

No one has had them in and stubbys webpage didnt indicate not having them so I just went for it. Big mistake!! I have still been trying to get ahold of them everyday with nothing. I just placed my order with Triad and will never order from stubbygear EVER again. I am interested in seeing this problem through with stubby I just want to get a hold of them to cancel my order. My account has already been charged which really ticks me off. I keep emailin them to cancel my order. I guys all I can do is keep watchin my statements for a refund. Who do you report his company to for terrible business other than the better business burue?

Send them a registered letter canceling the contract due to failure to supply and anything else you can think of.
Wait your 10 days, check for a refund and then report them

If you were the one who PMed me, there are also other options (as I said) as well which you need to investigate.

IF you are within the CC chargeback period then do that. I would also look at complaints to whoever is providing the "merchant" facility. Enough complaints and issues and they tend to withdraw them. This normally gets the attention of retailers.

I would since this is an on going issue. Had guys originally steped up and actually done something when THEY had a problem a message would have been sent to the retailer and issues would have been fixed. By doing nothing "we" allow this sort of crap to go on. If you can't supply what you claim, if you can't have reasonable customer service you should not be dealing with customers. No excuses.

i had no problems with my dealing with Stubby. I got a very hard to find 3 Color Desert drag bag about 18months ago and all was very smooth. It's to bad so many other guys had "less than good" experiences.

Tried to order from Stubby Gear once (and ONLY once)....like Dantrom says..my item not in stock although on website, they took payment anyway and never told me about non-availability. I only found out after a couple of months when nothing had been received. Then a nightmare trying to get refund and getting acknowledgment that they'd cancelled the order. Godawful comms skills and shit CS attitude! FWIW - AVOID!!
