Subsonic .308

I'm going to try and work up a SS load for my Mk 11 Mod 0 clone from GAP since I sprung for the Mk 11 suppressor. I've done a crap load of reading on this site and others, but still am a bit confused about where to start.

I've got some 175's as well as some of the 200 Gr FMJBT from Lapua. I haven't got a chrono yet...it's on order but not here. I plan to use Trail Boss. My real concern is going too low and getting a bullet stuck in the barrel. Does anyone have any experience loading heavy bullets for SS loads, and TB?

I'd start with 12 grains min and work down.

I would definitely start high and work down but if you get a bullet stuck it isn't the end of the world. As long as it is only one it will come out pretty easily. When I was working on my subsonic 7.62x25 Tokarev I stuck at least 20 bullets during testing. All came out easily with a few taps of a cleaning rod.

If you aren't paying attention and stick a few at the same time that is a HUGE pain to remove. I did it once and it tooks hours to clear.

Yep, I've read that. Like I said I've pretty much read everything I can find on reduced power loads. And I'm using Trail Boss powder. Very light and fluffy and 15.5 grains pretty much fills up a .308 case. Got this covered.

Great! Just looking out for fellow shooters.

I have a ton of Bullseye laying around and it burns pretty dirty in my handgun loads, so that's what I'm going to use to start testing subsonics.
