The 40cans will work but they will take a beating as the pressure are much higher and the 40 cans tend to be smaller in volume. Try a 45 can and shoot mild loads thru it. Dont shoot some hopped up crazy load or your 45 baffles will start to rattle.
I run a SilenceroCO Osprey in 45 on one of mine from time to time, does well. But, I only run it when Im hunting with it.

Silencerco osprey .45 and AAC Tirant .45 are both rated for 10 mm. I got emails from both manufactures stating such. I couldn't decide so I did both!

I understand it's a db reduction...but a 10mm is meant to breath. Not a great round to suppress. If you're set on it the others have provided some great input. I'd go with the volume on the .45ACP cans.

I like my 10mm, but think I will buy a .45 Glock with the Ti Rant can.

I have a Glock 20. I purchased a Glock 20 6 in bbl and sent it off to Adco to have it threaded and cut back. (It will be threaded .578x28 to match the thread pitch on my Sig P220 combat). That way I do not have to purchase another piston.
If you do not have a threaded bbl Lone Wolf Dist has Glock 20 threaded bbls in stock (about 125$) threaded 9/16x24. Order the correct piston for your can and you are GTG.
There is a video on LWD's websight shooting the G20 with the .45 Osprey.

I built a G20L specifically for pig hunting and use a YHM .40 cal Cobra M2 on it... I've got well over 3K rounds through the setup, shooting everything from 155gr to 220gr hardcasts and it works flawslessly!!!

Especially since I have plenty of 10mm ammo and can find no decent .45ACP ammo, I like those Glock 20 options. Thanks!

Osprey 45 or TiRant 45 like everyone has said. But since 10mm is a round known for high velocity it kind of defeats the purpose to try and suppress it.
I am having the same feelings as many of the others that have posted I believe. the 10mm is a power round not something meant to be suppressed. but if you are set on doing it go with a .45 can that way when you hear the difference in .45 and 10mm you can get a new .45 and still use the same tax stamp. maybe even step down the a 9mm shooting 147s.
You could always go with the Tirant in .45 for the 10 mm. If you want heavy bullets get some 220 grain hard cast and load them to 1000 fps and you have the energy of a .45 ACP and should have much better penetration IF that is what you need/want. Make sure your barrel is safe for lead bullets. Also, the Tirant allows you to clean the lead out since it is a take apart can, of course you need to be very careful with the cleaning and lead.
I will be plinking with 200 grain XTP and hunting with the 220 grain in just such a setup. I should have my stamps back in late May or early June.
