Suggestions for powder measure for ball powder

I've only ever loaded for rifle and dealt with stick powders. I currently use a charge master.

Gonna start loading 300 blackout and bulk .223. Can anyone suggest a good volumetric powder measure for ball powder?
I plan on doing some load work up with my charge master but ideally, once I find suitable charge weights, I would like to be able to load in bulk.

.223 powder will likely be H355.
300 powder is Shooters World 458 Socom( supposed to be good for both subsonic and supersonic)

RCBS Uniflow with the micrometer adjustment.

The RCBS and Hornandy powder measures are both pretty good.
I have the rcbs on the bench to throw 223 loads and a Hornandy on a case activated set up on my press for pistol.
If I had to pick one it would be tough but it would probably be the Hornandy.
They both kick ass with WST, WSF, CFEpistol, W748 and CFE223.

What press are you running?
My Dillon powder measure throws H335 and similar ball powders pretty much perfectly according to my chargemaster...so within the +/-0.1gr spec.

If you're running a progressive or a turret I would really look into a case activated setup on the press. You could easily charge the case, slide the turret one spot and seat right away. Reduce the risk of hitting your elbow and spilling a case....or worse, the whole tray of charged cases.

I hope to step up to a progressive in the near future.

Ive only ever heard questions of what measure to use with stick powder because ball powder meters so well through just about anything.

Try to pick something with a nice micrometer meter.

Redding makes great stuff, Harrels is the luxury model, if Foster makes a meter/drop you are probably getting quality.

When people talk stick the general consensus is that the cheap Lee powder drop does a pretty good job, better than some better regarded manufacturers products. Sure it drops ball excellent and its cheap.

I run Dillon.

In stick I have to drop low trickle to desired weight.

When using ball (Win 231) I just speed run the handle.

I have the RCBS Uniflow... when dropping BL-C(2) for 308 zombie ammo....I've measured against my AutoTricklerV3 scale and the accuracy is pretty stunning. I'm within 0.02 to 0.04 grains with the BL-C(2)....

On 300BO I use Lil'Gun. Using the RCBS I'm always less than 0.10 grains off. That is less than the accuracy of most scales that you guys use.

For large stick powders...I find it sucks though...atleast for my level of accuracy needs.

Yea, with ball powders I use like WST and W748 if your technique is consistent they are amazingly accurate.

1st powder I will be trying will be Shooters World Socom.... it's a very fine ball powder. Don't know how it compares to the examples given above as all I've ever loaded has been extruded powders... Varget, H4350, IMR4064, etc...
I'll update as I start using it.

For things in the 10 to 50 grain region, the Redding BR-30 only because it will also meter stick powder very well. Ball powder meters like water in just about anything.

Powder measures with ball powders do amazingly well.
Technique is important, watch some videos and it’s easily sorted out.
Big stick powder is like pouring firewood compared to ball powders.
