I did that. It's alright if you don't plan on making adjustments once you've got it set.

I have one of these on one of my ARs. I bought it because it is unique and reasonable (I think). To my surprise it's actually got a comfy cheek weld. I think it's the shape that makes it comfy. I really like it.

The XLR Industries buttstocks are also pretty nice. Stay away from that CAA crap. I had to "mortar" a stuck case out of one of my AR's with that pile of ass, first stroke it exploded into about 5 different pieces.
