No, I was denied. They didn't send a correction letter.velvet - you shouldnt have any problems. you are still in line. once ATF gets correction back your application continues forward in current slot. Many people arent as lucky as you, and the examiner just denied it (theres a legal term but i cant think of it at moment).
i talked to mark last friday and i'll echo what tlsmith said above. for those denied SS is working on the appeal. forms would be re-filed, silencershop will send in new $200 (as technically for those denied ATF is sending back original $200, but that can take 90 days).
if the appeal is accepted the concept is that SS would be able to send the application and new monies direct to an examiner, it would go to front of the line, and be processed pretty quickly.
for those affected and following thread - if you call mark and dont catch him, leave just 1 VM. he will get back to you. may take a day or two. they're working hard on it, as they should. flogging people there over this just slows stuff down.

My dealer made the correction and resubmitted my form the same week with a letter of appeal, he did Said SS paid the $200 to have it done again and also said my application will start from scratch.
So not sure where I stand.
I have been trying to call Mark for a week and half and left messages 3 times. I haven’t received a return phone call as of yet. I would say that no news isn’t good news. I’m ready to just send my paperwork back and get the process started over.
Please let us know if you do hear back from him. I left a voicemail last week to see what the latest was. I'm like you, I don't want to wait around for another couple months for the ATF to dick SS around only for the appeal to get denied and then we are back at the end of the line again anyways. I'd rather just take the beating and resubmit and at least be in the queue again if it looks like this thing isn't going to go through. Wonder what it would take to get in the stack they pull prematurely just to bring down their average wait times on the NFA tracker. ?I have been trying to call Mark for a week and half and left messages 3 times. were you on their email chain that went out about a week ago relating to the protest filed with the ATF, along with info on contacting reps for support (in my case they botched up the rep part - probably pulling from a database incorrectly.). they also mentioned Cruz's support in it.
If you are part of the Silencer Shop's spreadsheet, I would contact them to make sure they have your correct information.I did not get that email. I just double checked and also checked my spam folder. Appreciate you posting it.

That is unfortunate they are not getting back in a timely fashion. I will try to call Mark tomorrow and get an updateI am part of it I reckon, at least he told me I was when I talked to him last. I been trying to contact them for a couple of weeks. LOL

I am in agreement with you, just hope I am wrong abt it.Guys, I feel for you, I do. However, Senators, and Reps being on board don't give me the warm fuzzies. They abdicated their authority to the alphabet agencies long ago.
Is typing with a cursive font the same as a signature? This is so much BS. The government passed a law a long time ago about how electronic signatures had to be accepted as equivalent to "wet signatures". We are talking about a government agency--do laws not apply to them?
I had to deal with this nonsense for years in real estate. The law says they have to be accepted, but Fannie Mae (a quasi-government entity) refused to accept them for a long time before they finally relented. Friggin' bureaucrats....!!!!! ?
ETA:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_Signatures_in_Global_and_National_Commerce_Act
(1) a signature, contract, or other record relating to such transaction may not be denied legal effect, validity, or enforceability solely because it is in electronic form; and(2) a contract relating to such transaction may not be denied legal effect, validity, or enforceability solely because an electronic signature or electronic record was used in its formation.
I believe this was the gist of the issue, BATF had been accepting "font" signatures, but decided it had to be drawn, still uses the same technology but changed the requirements of what was acceptable. I left a message for Mark today, hopefully he'll get back.Is typing with a cursive font the same as a signature?

I'm sure some of you have seen this, but maybe some of you haven't. If true it doesn't make SS look good at all.
I'm really, really surprised I haven't heard more about this on the interwebs. You actually have to look for it to find it.
As we all know when the ATF can make up the rules as they go along, it makes for a very hard game to play.
