Today's decision 7-2 to uphold an Alabama man being sentenced both by the state and the feds for a gun crime is very troubling. Unfortunately all the media including Fox news concentrated on Trump pardoning fed sentencing and can't pardon state sentencing.
This bad ruling goes against our Constitution when it addressed the British practice of continually charging people until they got the result the government wanted.

I believe they are doing this to manafort also. Alito layed it out as "each" entity to have a new charge.......although it is the same charge.....which is not double jeopardy. Judge Nap from fox should have been all over this. My single digit IQ is having problems understanding why we even have that law to begin with.

Are they saying that NO law is supreme, and all laws are equal in stature ?

Gkingisburg, the most liberal person on the court actually got this right.

And everyone goes on and on about trump stacking the courts lol. The law is not what it states, it is edict by our Imperial govt of the USA.
