Yesterday went and picked up my Surefire MINI 762, good lloking can and excellent size and weight, I'm not really a DB chaser and like the smaller cans. Going on a 12" 300 blackout and 16" 308. I picked this one for hunting some deer, turkey and seem to have a bunch of bears crossing my farm. I plan on shooting it today and will report back.

It uses the same mounting system as the 762k so no barrel overlap so you should be fine.

Re: Surefire Mini 762, got it

I went to the range and shot it to do some function testing with a new upper, subsonic and supersonic ran like a charm. I really like how it made the rifle handle, no front heaviness in my opinion. The sound reduction is really good for its size and I fired off about 5 subsonics and 5 supersonics without hearing protection and my ears didn't seem to be bothered, loud but not that ear blasting ring without a can. I only shot it at 25 yards for the function check so all the rounds stayed in the same group, but next time I will get serious and move to 100 and 200 yds to see how much poi shift I get with the can on and off. I say for a hunting rifle can this thing is perfect, not to heavy and long, but takes the bark off enough. I will say this I don't believe in shooting rifle round suppressed without hearing protection. I'll report back in the fall when I pop a deer with it, bet the sound won't even be noticed.

I don't know about the caliber rating, the cost was I did a trade/cash deal.
