Anyone know when Surgeon is coming out with another batch of 1086 actions??

Looking to do a 30-06 hunting rifle build using a 1086 action.

I got my most recent 591 from Southern Precision (Bugholes) by getting on their waiting list. If nothing else, give Greg a call and see what he can do for you. I've had nothing but great service from him and 3rd Gen Shooter's Supply.

I didn't ask about the 1086s, but I do know that they got some 591s in, all of which were spoken for. Surgeon actions are getting harder and harder to find these days. If I run into a 1086, I'll pm you.

Something got Surgeon sideways in meeting the demand for their products. But somewhere I read a post from Wade indicating they would catch up late this year.

The 1086s don't get run as often as the 591s, I believe. I think you may not see these till January, but better off hearing that from Wade. 591s trickle through, but most are sold before they arrive (the last few batches at least)
