My buddy and I both just obtained new rifles built on Surgeon 591 SA's in 6.5x47 Lapua. Both of us have noticed that the case necks are slightly deformed or have a flattend case mouth on one side. We both figure it's the ejector spring pressure. All 111 shot I send down range yesterday had the same flat spot on the neck just at the mouth. Is this something typical of Surgeon's? With a normal FL die with expander this may not be probmatic but we are both using Redding FL bushing dies and without anything pushing "out" the flat spot it may hinder truly great accuracy.
Any ideas/suggestions?
