I just got this Surgeon build all put together today. Its wearing a Premier Heritage 3-15x50 in Badger USMC rings. It also has a YHM Phantom 338 can. Surprisingly the 338 can is very effective on the 308 round, it does not heat up nearly as fast as my other 308 cans.

Very nice rifle, one of the best looking rifles ive seen on here in a while.

its surgeons bolt knob.

Its FDE cerakote that Surgeon did. I am a new fan of cerakote now. Mark @ SAC did a barreled action in Patriot Brown that is a really nice color matched with an OD GREEN stock. There is only one variant of Cerakote that I'm aware of. They probably offer high heat coating as well.

I don't have a camera lens wide enough to take a group photo of all my rifles! Ive only put a few rounds thru it to hear what the can sounds like on the rifle. Will shoot the groups on Monday. Ill post the targets

Nice build! Love the different Desert camo stocks with tan and FDE coated metal.


What barrel is that? Krieger??
Contour?

Did Surgeon replace the KMW bolt knob with this one you have? Didnt see the old KMW on their website anymore.

Good lord man, you must have one heck of a collection! That's a good looking rifle right there.

Tell me if you ever hit any shoots in the area, I'll try to make it and I swear I'll do my best to keep the drooling to a minimum.

Very nice and love the colors.

The bolt knob is what Surgeon referres to as their "sniper knob." I elected to go the sniper knob on my 591SA. God willing it should be enroute to my hands by the middle of next week.

I think that knob is the BALLS.

Im having a 308 rifle built by oneeyedmac and i asked him for the black cerakote since ive heard cerakote is very durable and high quality so im looking forward to seeing the paints qality for myself.
