I am slowly putting together parts to have a .300 Win Mag built at Warner Tool. So far I have:

Badger M5 bottom metal w/ 2 AI mags
Badger FTE Muzzle Brake
Badger 30mm USMC scope rings
Badger Titanium Maximized Recoil lug
PRI 20 MOA optic base
Harris Bi-pod
Factory Remington trigger
Surgeon Rifles bolt knob
Remington 700 L/A
Havnt decided on an optic yet. Either USO or NF

I plan on getting a Bartlien MTU 26" Barrel contour and have all the metal Cerakoted in FDE. Warner Tool will do all the building and truing of parts, they said they have to send it out to have painted cuz they dont do that in house.

My only problem is I am leaning towards getting the Surgeon RLR action with the Magnum Bolt Face for it instead of using the Factory Rem.700 LA.

I cant decide on getting the Surgeon Action OR having my Brand new (never used) Rem700 L/A trued totally over by Warner Tool.

Cant decide. Any Ideas?
Any pics of the RLR action in a rifle?

Or go with the defiance machine. You will never feel extraction like that on anything else. Guaranteed. I used to drool over the integral rail but...... Sometimes a guy wants less or more or one piece rings.

Do you feel the Defiance has an advantage over the Surgeon?
