When you log in and check the remember me box, are you staying logged into the site if you close the browser and come back in a while?
Chrome and Edge tested here and I can't stay logged in if I close the window.
Mobile devices are different, as most will keep the process open unless you explicitly close it, so this is more about traditional desktops and laptops.

I stay logged in on Safari for both iPhone, iPad and on OS X. Firefox on my Windows PC appears to keep me logged in across browser closings.

Perhaps you are loosing your session cookie when closing the browser? Might not hurt to double check that A) Your cache isn't disabled or too small and/or B) that you don't have an option set to empty cache upon closing.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I am still checking my settings.
What's interesting is that I stay logged in to the Scout site for days with problems, Amazon, others too.
At least now I know it's probably something on my side. Glad it's not wholesale on the site.

Hey Tucker,

I get logged out if I leave it for a while. I'm running Firefox and Win10 on two boxes. I have my settings throw away cookies when I exit, however the symptom exhibits without exiting.

Negative on PC. Win 7, Chrome Browser. It's fine until I close the browser then I have to log back in.
ETA: I seem to have fixed it, I unclicked the "remember me", logged out, and then re-clicked it on my log back in. It was that, or all the clicking I did in my settings????? I don't know which.

It's definitely not on the forum software side. I just checked the PC at my office after not being on it for 48 hours and I was still logged in. Now I need to figure out what's dropping me at home.

I finally got mine worked out. I saw that I was staying logged on from the office. I deleted my ID in Chrome at the house and did a full reset in Chrome. Then logged back in to Chrome and synced to the office settings. Stayed logged on all night with Chrome closed.
