How tall is this bipod from ground to bottom of the mounting housing with the legs compressed (pulled out and dropped down from the stowed position)?
I have 2 of the tall units and was hoping this might be shorter than 13" for some prone work. I wonder how low you could take these using the springs before you risked the possibility of instability and collapse.?
