As I am still too cheap to buy new brass in 223, I find myself needing to swage primer pockets.
Other than the Dillon 600 Super Swage, does anyone have any recommendations for a tool that does a good job?
    Thanks!

I second the RCBS tools effectiveness and ease of use once properly adjusted, the cutting tool they make is also very fast and easy to use and gives good results in my experience using it on Hornady 68 SPC brass and Lake City 556.

I third the RCBS tool. Quick and easy. That said, I've never used the Dillon tool, so I can't compare the two.

If you’re running a single stage than the above options mentioned are it. If you run a progressive then you have some better or “quicker” options. I run a Hornady LnL progressive and they a tool head to swage primer pockets and it works really good! If you run a Dillon they also have a pocket swager that you can set up on a tool head and works great.

I tried them all and became frustrated with subpar results so I sprung for the Dillon. Either not enough swage or too slow for the amount of brass I was doing (1000's of 223 cases). Should have bought that one when I started. Very happy with what it does.

I have both the press mounted RCBS kit, and a Dillion SS. For 2 or three cases? RCBS works fine. For a hundred or more? Get the Dillion and never look back.
I had a buddy that laughed at me when I bought the Dillion SS, saying that the RCBS press mounted kit does the same for a fraction of the cost. Later, he stumbled across a Dillion SS that was stupid cheap at an estate sale (lady didn't know what it was). His response after using it the first time was "Why in the hell didn't I get one of these things sooner!?!".

I just bought the hornady lnl swage die and it was fairly simple to set up and get going. I have only ran a handful of cases through it but my primers seated great with several different headstamps of brass... im pleased with it.
