I am having a "mountain rifle" built and was thinking of putting the Z-6 2.5-15x44 with the brh reticle. Does anyone have any experience with this reticle? Is swarovski's calculator accurate? Thanks

I have not used the Z6; however, the Swaro BRH/BRX reticles are just straight up mil reticles. The lines and dots are all 0.5 mils apart, so if you get the necessary info on your load (bullet/MV) and plug it in to something like JBM you should be able to generate a good come up card for your rifle. (that is what I do with my Z3)

I have a Z6i brt 1-6x on my JP LRP-07 and have used their calculator for my loads and I have found it to be spot on for my FGGM 168gr and Southwest Ammo 175gr ammo. I have looked through many scopes and have found the GLASS on the Swarovski to be the CLEAREST of them all, with that in mind I also always wondered why there is not much talk in this forum about Swarovski Scopes. Is it that people don't like Swarovski or what?

I have dropped a few animals using Swarovski scopes and their ballistic app on my iPhone between 400 and 600 yds. Missed once at 500 yds or so due to misjudging the wind but my elevation was spot on. Have not tried shooting past 600 with my Swaros yet.
