SWFA has no idea when they will be getting them in and I been looking at some reviews it looks like a-lot of scope for the money.

Have owned the 10x, 3-9, and 5-20. The 3-9 and 5-20 have very nice glass and much nicer turrets than the non-HD SS line. I agree with @Hondo64d - the 3-9 is a fantastic hunting scope and is priced very competitively.

I currently have 4 swfa scopes, for the money you can't beat them. 10x are excellent, the 5-20 is awesome, and just picked up a 1-6x24 . If they only had zero stop they would be right up there with top name glass! Watch the px they come up pretty often .

I've owned the 3-9x HD, a 3-15x (non-HD), and shoot with a buddy that has the 5-20x HD. The HD glass is really great, and they are probably the most robust & reliable scopes you can find. The 3-9x HD is very good, but other brands are starting to catch up in glass quality and offer more features like illumination, more sophisticated reticles, zero stops, etc... SWFA scopes across the board are great values, but I find myself these days looking at the $600 price on the 3-9x HD with the Backorder notification and thinking I'd rather get a 3-15x Viper PST Gen2 while it's in stock, or just wait for a 2-12x Helos BTR Gen2 instead.

Can anyone here compare the SWFA 3-9x42 to the Trijicon Credo 2-10x36 or the PA 2.5-10x44?

Had an SWFA 3-9 in the past and am thinking about getting another.

Currently have a classic 10x and have had the 5-20, 1-6, another 10x, and the mentioned 3-9. Overall they are good scopes. May be getting another 1-6/3-9 if they have another tax day sale.
