I have the mild dot 10x on 2 rifles and it has been great. I don't think you could do better on a $300 budget, give or take.

I have two of them and like them a lot for what they are. For the money they are tough to beat and hold their value well. Both of mine track great. They are the fixed 10 rear focus models. There is a lot of adjustment as well (which it why it is on my 22 and the other on the subsonic rifle).

But to answer your question, I have heard nothing but good things about these scopes, especially for the prices.
The 10xHD model is really nice, but they have a new one coming out soon that wont be a budget optic.

They are a great beginner scope. I had it on my AR15, moved it to my 22, and it will be going on my 308. Great little scope for the money. They track well. I've gone from 50yds to 200 with my 22, and it tracks great every time.

You're right this should be in the optics forum but before you go The scopes as said before for the money are outstanding. We put 100 on M14 DM rifles and sent them to Iraq in 2004. The Soldiers liked the combo. We had Snipers to new shooters using the scopes. I have 3 all 10X rear focus. 1 M14S, 1 Rem 700 and one on my RR LAR-8.
Great all utility scope......if you don't mind fixed 10X. I've used mine to take whitetail on the East coast including running snap shots.

Everyone who owns them says the glass is better than anything else in the price range. A friend of mine who can afford (and owns) a half dozen USO scopes had a SS 10x on this McMillan .50 and said the scope was up to the task for that rifle. SWFA is running their package promotions right now, so a lot of goodies come with the Super Snipers that are included in the promo.

I am on my 6th Super Sniper now. This is the 3rd scope in 16X. I actually bought this scope as a hold over scope until I could afford to get a PST. However, now that I have this scope in hand, and it is so freakin clear and simple to use, I have decided to keep it and put it to good use. Unless someone decides to GIVE me a PST, I will not be buying one.
The 16X Super Sniper is an awesome scope for the price tag!!
