SWR Radius Switch Upgrade

Does anyone know of options to upgrade the radius pressure switch? Seems like it should be a pretty common/easy switch so maybe there should be other options out there. Looking for something a little bigger. What other switches utilize that same plug style?

It looks like either a Single Pole/Double Throw switch. Or a Single pole/Single throw switch. You could easily make up your own if you found the pressure pad that you wanted to use. A little soldering and shrink tube would be required.

Thanks for the reply. I have the switch I want to use but what is the name of that connector? I’d rather no butcher the Radius switch in the event a screw it up.

Looks like a standard 3.5mm male stereo plug.

I agree: 3.5mm stereo plug. You can get a basic OEM plug and put it together, solder your connections and have a functioning switch. But it might be hard to make it water proof and rugged. YOur best bet is to find a donor cord, cut the plug off and make your connections somewhere in line instead of at the plug.
