Suppressors SWS MISB

Wondering if anyone on here has a SWS MISB integrally-suppressed rifle. I believe SWS is a member on here but they last logged in back in 12/17. I intend to move to a suppressor-legal and hunting-ok state next year from a NFA-ban state and the idea of a suppressed hunting rifle is very appealing. Where I'm moving to is heavily forested, brushy, and mountainous, so having a suppressed rifle with a 20" barrel would be far handier than say a 20" to 24" barrel with a 6-12" can attached, giving me something with a length between 26" to 36" long.

One other thing - does SWS work on Savage 10/110 receivers?

I have shot seven of their AR15s; 6 in 5.56 and 1 in 300BLK.

All have worked flawlessly. I shot only a few subs through the blk for giggles but these few also functioned the gun flawlessly.

Accuracy (yes, I know, ‘precision’) has been good. Groups with the Federal T3 loads, both in 5.56 and 223, have been around 2”-2.25” at 100yds with a Trijicon 1-8 Accupower scope. Note that this ammo is great on terminal effects but is not a match load by any stretch in any gun I have shot it in. A sample of Black Hills loads ranging from 50gr to 77gr yielded better groups. For comparison, my custom 16” Wilson-barreled AR (with a Trijicon 4-16 scope) typically shoots 1.75-2” with the T3 rounds. And I know that I am the weak link on the groups, sadly!

Suppression has been great. I am told by bystanders that the SWS rifles sound quieter than my Noveske 10.5“ 5.56 with an Omega 30, and about on par with the 16” Wilson barreled AR with a SIG SRD556 can. Gas blowback seems less than with the Omega and SIG cans.


I don’t know about Savage actions, but I bet they do.

A little late to finding this thread. I went hunting with one of the guys that work for the company and shot a few of the bolt guns that they make. Great suppression on normal loads, and with subloads you can't help but giggle a little bit. Accuracy wise, their advertisement of sub-MOA performance is accurate. Granted that's with normal match loads, and subloads are about what you'd expect. I'm not sure if they work with Savage, but given the wide variety of rifles they advertise and how the system is designed I wouldn't be surprised if they could. I'm looking at ordering on in .338 Federal with a 22" overall barrel length later this year.
