Synchronized sniper shots

Perhaps this is one way it could be done...

1976 Loyada Hostage Rescue Mission

http://foreignlegion.info/1976-loyada-hostage-rescue-mission/

At 03:45 p.m. (15h45), an order was given to rescue the children. GIGN snipers fired coordinated shots to kill the kidnappers. In response, the Somali guns opened fire. This was the signal for the paratroopers. The 2e REP legionnaires launched a frontal attack and ran forward under enemy fire. They were designated to ensure the rescue of the children and to eliminate the Somali gunfire.

From the recent fictionalized movie: 'Fifteen Minutes of War'. The coordinated shot starts at 6:27 minutes into the video...

After the shot:

The full movie can be watched for free on dailymotion:

That made for a quick 1:38.

Thanks for posting.

If you ask the bad guys what time it is, one will look at his watch, the second will look at his pocket watch and the third will judge the time by the sun. When they all do this, you open fire. Not quite simultaneous but close enough to get the job done. Then they know their time is up. But remember, this is a secret. Don't let anyone know I told you this. If it gets out, no one will fall for it anymore. Shhh

I cant find the video now, but on the youtubes i have seen these aussie guys that shoot in tandem at long range animals for a better chance to get the kill. They have a super complex system. They say ready? Yes. And together they say 3. 2. 1. And they fire.... its amazing... i bet they spent a fortune on that system.

Snipers have tactical watches issued by the government for synchronized

Wait, do they fire on 1, or is it 3, 2, 1, and then fire?

Best training is online Call of Duty. Those guys are pros.
Little known secret...

Frank wasn't a scout sniper, combat type nor does he actually have any real experience shooting long range.

He's actually a 500 recycle in Call of Duty. Everything he knows is based on his vast experience with playing a sniper on his Xbox.

Hopefully the pantifa and b lm folks never discover that nugget. If they do they'll be a true danger to those they want to hurt some day.

I've secretly hoped all cod is banned and they go door to door grabbing the copies. Information that dangerous is scary.

What is the deal here , am i missing something? Was it Somali coast guard/pirates doing the sniping :ROFLMAO: or why the amazement

Hostage rescue 101 , for past 40+years ,sniper coordination systems have been used

Snipers have long used an electronic gizmo and with a press of a button indicating they have a shot to control, control has oversight of all snipers when all lights are green command to shoot fells as many targets as there are snipers.

The basic system used at least for past 40+years have simple red and green led diodes for each sniper on the control box(system you could make DIY ) , nowdays we have much fancier variants with host of features and control has sight picture from each sniper.

Does this system take the Coriolis effect into account?

I had the brilliant idea (too late unfortunately) to see if we could do a command fire on a steel IPSC at the NRL22 championship. When is the next time your gonna get 200 capable rimfire shooters to simultaneously hit a plate to see if they can knock it over? Would have been a hell of a sight to see.
