T/C Venture in 30-06

Anyone heard or experienced with them? Looked at one for the first time today and was relatively impressed with it. Good hunting rifle for sure, very light and nice action all for $429.00. A decent piece of hunting glass and looks like it should be a good hunting tool. So, anyone heard anything? Thanks

Get a long action Savage instead. There's more available aftermarket parts for it when you want to upgrade.

Excellent caliber though, don't let anyone try to tell you otherwise.

I really dig my Icon but they cheapened up the Venture too much, go with the Savage or Icon

Which Savage do you all recommend? Will predominately be used for hunting.
