T1X Trigger?

Dad is looking at the KRG Midas 2 Stage and the Jard. Maybe Timney as well. Wanting something that will get under a pound. Does anyone have any experience with these? Appreciated.

Do you want a 2-stage? Otherwise get an updated trigger spring for the factory trigger and it'll drop it under a lb.

I just bought a Jard trigger for my T1X. The trigger was rated 9-11 oz. After I installed it a Lyman digital scale proved it to break at 6.5 oz. No problems with the safety. I am completely happy with these results.

I’ll have to ask him about the 2 stage. I wasn’t aware the hard was a single stage.
I’ll have to admit that after looking at the 2 I’m personally liking the Jard better.

If he’s not wanting a two stage at least try one of the cheap aftermarket spring upgrades first. Both my T1X and T3X have the mountain tactical spring and they are incredibly light and crisp.

There’s this one, which is distributed by Whittaker in the US, I believe: http://www.barnard.co.nz/barnard-tikka-trigger

I called Whittaker and they checked and it does install on a T1x and at the time they could get them. Maybe a couple of years ago.

No idea on reliability or quality. I was going to get a tikka but got a Kidd instead. Semi-auto better for prairie dogs and the like, haha!

No affiliation but FWIW Barnard produces extremely high quality kit for Palma and F-Class shooters. Their actions are superb.
