TAC30 Action

Have any of you used a TAC30 action? I am putting something together and I want to use a Remington Short action thats been blue printed, but i cant find anything in Stainless. I have a chance of getting a TAC30, but dont know anything about them. Would this need to blue printed, or are they decent out fo the box? Good or bad action?

I have one as do many others on this board. Mine didn't need to be trued. Works perfectly out of the box. Very nice action for the price. Buy it.

Shoudn't require any smithing or truing at all, just spin a barrel on it and go. I have had a few high end actions that were not "ready to go" out of the box and required some work, but I have not heard any reports of the TAC30 requiring any additional work

TAC30s are not the most expensive or cool-looking actions out there, but they are 100% good to go and shoot just as good as actions that cost twice as much. I have never seen one that needed additional work.

They work great, and I'm currently building a lightweight 7 Saum on one.

Had a Predator, diff name, same action, 6BR, shot 3shot groups into 1/4" time and again at 200 yds................no complaints.

Like others have said get the action and enjoy it. They are great actions and will shoot just as good as some of the golden actions found on this site.

Never heard of any issues with them either.
Should be good right out of the box.
